This is a family ride along the flat terrain which will take you to Spencer Glacier where you will be able to walk into the ice caves and see Seracs standing 4 to 5 stories tall. At Spencer Lake we will find icebergs that area frozen in the lake, which you'll be able to ride up to and around the ice formations.

We will meet at the double pull out at MP 76 on the north bound side of the Seward Highway, just south of Placer River.  Be ready to depart at 10 AM. This is about a 90 minute drive south from Anchorage. Total distance we will ride is about 30 miles so gas should not be a problem. Pack a snack, water and your camera.

This is a popular ride destination for snowmobilers, the parking lot fills up fast. Plan on arriving early to get a spot to park and get everyone together as a group.

As always check the ASC hot line  566-0272 for latest updates before departing for the ride.
