Resurrection Pass Trail is open to Snowmobiles every other year. The Trail runs from the Cooper Landing area to Hope (about 40 miles). There are Forrest Service Cabins scattered along the trail. The cabins are rustic and very basic: no bedding, no mattresses, no cooking utensils, bring your on heating oil / fire wood, etc. Most cabins will sleep six. The plan is to reserve however many cabins needed ($75 night per cabin), and that a few hardy riders will ride in Friday dragging sleds filled with needed supplies. Get heat going and gear stowed. Then the less hardy ridders (like my wife- who likes a warm cozy cabin) will ride in Saturday morning. We will explore the area, have some fun, and spend Saturday night regaling each other with what great snowmachiners we are. This is a developing concept.
