The ever-popular family ride to Shulin Lake is one of the most beautiful virgin-forest rides of the season! Easy, level-ground riding suitable for a beginner, but labelled intermediate because of the 65-70 mile round trip distance.

We’ll meet at 10:00am in the Vitus Energy (previously the Trapper Creek Trading Post) parking lot at MP 115.3 on the Parks Highway (just 1/2 mile past the 4-way flashing light on Parks Highway at Petersville Road on your right) and be ready to ride at 10:30am. Head south on Trapper Creek Trail trail to Amber Lake Trail and then Oilwell Road with final destination as Shulin Lake. Family-fun intermediate level ride with a few small hills and a few creek (frozen) crossings. Be sure to check the hotline 907-689-7777 before departing for any ride for advice and/or changes and if you have a cell phone, we’ll be communicating important info via group-text as well.
Need to be a current ASC member, have full gas and oil, beverage, sack-lunch and be ready to have some winter fun!
